The Investigation.

The investigation began after a 77-year-old woman was found dead by authorities on February 4th. Medical examiners determined her death was due to a drug overdose. While the exact drug involved is unclear, the report indicates it was a "non-fentanyl related overdose."

During the investigation, detectives claim to have found evidence leading to the dark web. Authorities hinted at a cryptocurrency trail, likely left by the woman during the purchase. This trail led them to the main suspect, a Round Rock resident named Jeannot Robinson.

Search Warrant & Arrest

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Organized Crime Unit obtained a search warrant and raided the suspect’s residence in Round Rock on February 25. During the raid, authorities found a wide range of drugs. The suspect had significant amounts of psychedelics, such as LSD and mushrooms, along with small amounts of THC products, ketamine, and even Xanax. The most concerning items were 140 grams of meth and approximately 5 grams of fentanyl, which could lead to over 1,000 overdoses.

In addition to the drugs, authorities seized a large amount of digital evidence, including a variety of storage devices like SD cards, thumb drives, multiple hard drives, 20 cellphones, laptops, and even reported "hacking devices."

Conclusion

Jeannot Robinson was arrested and is currently being held in the Williamson County Jail. A judge set his bond at $100,000. Investigations are still ongoing, and authorities appear to have built a strong case against the suspect, collecting a substantial amount of evidence. However, it remains unclear whether they have directly linked the suspect to the sale of drugs to the woman who overdosed, and whether he will be charged in connection with her death.
